Collaroy to Manly

Following coastal paths and beaches, it is possible to walk all the way from Collaroy to Manly (about 11kms). In early spring it is a fabulous walk and finishing up at Manly means being able to get the ferry back to Circular Quay - a relaxing end to the day after all that walking.

Blackheath

Blackheath is a lovely village in the Blue Mountains - 110kms west of Sydney. There are dozens of walking tracks in the area and it would be easy to spend days or weeks exploring them.

Dell St in Blackheath - on the way from the train station to the start of the Popes Glen walking track.

This picture and most of the ones that follow were taken along the Popes Glen Track at Blackheath. This track is one that is more readily accessible from the train station than most of the tracks in the area. From the Popes Glen track you can take several side tracks or follow it through to Govetts Leap.
